Hunter Job Start was formed in 2016 by Camilla Nalder understanding the need to support job seekers participate in meaningful training to assist them to enter or re-enter the workforce and to promote career development for people already in work.
Through experience and understanding the employment and training sectors, Hunter Job Start is able to consult with businesses and participants – both job seekers and existing workers as well as job active providers to develop training programs focussed on real outcomes.
This includes supporting a career pathway into employment. We work with local businesses to find employment opportunities and support a training or traineeship pathway into job roles.
We also consult with local businesses and develop training programs and skills sets to assist with staff retention and career development and advancement for their existing staff.
Hunter Job Start is dedicated to assisting young people being trained in new fields to contribute to their job search as well as supporting mature participants in up-skilling their qualifications to improve their career path.
As a training specialist, Hunter Job Start provides a broad range of professional services with a strong focus on addressing the skill shortages faced by today’s industries. We offer a personalised service with our team tailoring services to suit industry needs.
Our head office is situated in Maitland to service the unique needs of the Hunter Valley. We also service our partners from satellite offices in Sydney and various locations across all states.
