CHC40213 – Certificate IV in Education Support

The nationally recognised Certificate IV in Education Support gives you a competitive edge for gaining employment in public and private schools and community education settings. Be qualified as a teacher aide, education support worker, or home tutor and help your students to reach their full potential.

Through theory and practical course work, you will learn to:

  • Support students in their literacy and mathematics studies
  • Contribute to the production of language resources
  • Apply curriculum and support learning
  • Reflect on and improve your own professional practice
  • Work with school students with additional needs including autism spectrum disorder
  • Understand and respond to behaviour

To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in:
